SiBIM conference 2024

On Thursday, May 16, 2024, the siBIM Association, in co-organization with the Strategic Development and Innovation Partnership Smart Buildings and Timber Chain Buildings (PSiDL) and the EU H2020 SEEtheSkills project, successfully held the 9th siBIM professional conference, this time in the Brdo pri Kranju congress hall with the slogan INTELLIGENT BIM. Among the guests of this conference were world-renowned BIM experts Jaan Saar, president of the EU BIM Task group with the lecture BIM in Europe, and Ioannis Brilakis, professor from the Cambridge University Engineering Department with the lecture AI-based Digital Twinning the Built Environment.

The siBIM 2024 conference program covered the latest trends and innovations in the field of digitization of construction in Europe and Slovenia, the placement of the BIM approach in the Slovenian construction legislation, and the development and outlook for the use of the BIM approach in Slovenia. The audience also actively participated in the final discussion, and the results of the interaction, which also include an assessment of this year's conference, are available at the Mentimeter link. This year, more than 140 listeners and lecturers attended the conference, and the atmosphere at this year's meeting in Brdo showed that we successfully held the 9th professional conference in the siBIM Association. At the next, tenth jubilee meeting next year, we will do our best to make siBIM 2025 exceed your expectations to an even greater extent!
